You know my take – our current technologically advanced civilization is at least the fifth one, as many ancient traditions tell us – we are not the first. And we are about to get kicked in the teeth by another catastrophic pole shift – almost definitely before 2050. Will future archeologists struggle to prove America existed? Will it be a legend like Atlantis? Will evidence of America be suppressed by the elite of some future nation, attempting to hide the cycle of pole shifts from their ignorant public and keep them slaving away until the day they lock their bunker doors from the inside?

Not sure what you mean as “civilization”. Our civilization is neither the continuation of Atlantis technology nor its society. I would say most of civilizations are self-contained, e.g. Aztec civilization is not relevant to ours.
