Why China Wants Moon Rocks

China is about to collect the first moon rocks since the 1970s

“For the first time in almost half a century, scientists are going to get their hands on new moon rocks. The Chinese space agency’s Chang’e-5 spacecraft, which landed on the moon around 10:15 a.m. EST December 1, will scoop up lunar soil from a never-before-visited region and bring it back to Earth a few weeks later.”

Why is this worth the cost? The United States and the Soviet Union already collected lunar samples decades earlier. What is China trying to prove?

Though unlikely to admit the truth, I suspect part of the impetus for getting to the moon in the 1960s, and part of China’s reasoning today, is to better analyze evidence of our sun’s recurring nova outbursts. We know that Earth experiences periodic, catastrophic, civilization-ending pole shifts. We know the sun periodically blasts away not just a solar flare or coronal mass ejection, but a planet-crisping nova.

The Bible, in Isaiah 30:26, warns that in the Day of the Lord: “The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days.” We have myths of such destruction by fire from ancient Greece, Egypt, and countless other regions. But we have evidence on the moon.

In September 1969, Thomas Gold wrote an important article titled: “Apollo 11 Observations of a Remarkable Glazing Phenomenon on the Lunar Surface.”

Gold noted evidence of a brief flash-melting of the lunar surface along the thinnest and highest edges of craters. “The apparently thin coating of glaze seen in many of the pictures indicates a short duration for the period of the radiative heating. With the approximately known rate of heat transfer in the lunar material, one may estimate that the duration of the heating phase was between 10 and 100 seconds.”

There was an “azimuthal dependence” – meaning – the rock was affected more on one side of craters than the other – the flash came from one direction. In all cases the slightly melted moon rocks “have just their top surfaces glazed. The glassy patches that can be seen on the photographs range in size from 1/2 mm to about 1 cm. The glazed areas are clearly concentrated toward the top surfaces of protuberances, although they exist also on some sides. Points and edges appear to be strongly favored for the glazing process. In some cases, droplets appear to have run down an inclined surface for a few millimeters and congealed there.”

“An intense source of radiative heating could account for all the facts now known…. Only radiative heating seems to be able to account for the major observational data; and it accounts well for both the distribution over the ground and the detailed geometrical arrangements in which the glazing is found, for it is in just those places where the temperature would be expected to be at a maximum. We must therefore seek clues as to the nature of such a flash of radiation. The time of occurrence of the flash heating would have to have been sufficiently recent for micrometeorites not to have destroyed the glaze, and for the mechanisms that redistribute the lunar soil not to have blanketed the objects. Estimates of the micrometeorite rate at the present time vary considerably, but it seems very unlikely that the glaze could be maintained on the surface for as much as 100,000 years and probably not for more than 30,000. The event in question would thus have to have taken place within this geologically very recent past.” The most recent such event may very well have been at the same time as Earth’s last catastrophic pole shift, which it may have triggered approximately 12-13,000 years ago.

Gold suggests a “nova-like outburst of the sun” in which “the sun’s luminosity flared up for a period of between 10 and 100 seconds to a luminosity of more than 100 times its present value.” Assuming Gold was right (and Ben Davidson has many good videos on Youtube’s SuspiciousObservers channel reviewing evidence in favor of this idea) then recurring solar nova trigger recurring pole shifts on Earth; typically after the terrestrial magnetic field gets very weak and the magnetic poles start accelerating towards new positions. Which has been happening in recent decades and points to another pole shift in our near future.

I think China wants to collect more lunar evidence – its own evidence – so that they can prepare accordingly.

  1. What if Earth changes its orbit for worse? No more water?
Wondering whether Revelation 21:1,5 means exactly that (a new heaven, no more sea). Well, that would be even worse than a pole shift itself. Even the Great Year can exists only with a stable orbit….

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. “

    • Do all these recent hints about the coming “dark winter” are suggesting exactly that?

“Dark winter” could be a nuclear fallout too, though.

    • I have assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that the new heaven and new earth describe what survivors see after a pole shift. No more sea, I assume, means near Israel. If the crust moves far enough, or if rotation is reversed as the Egyptians and Greeks suggest, then the Mediterranean would recede to the west.

      • From the perspective of an observer on the Moon, a 180° pole flip leaves The Earth’s spin unchanged. However, the geographic North pole gradually (during 20 hours or so) slips down south, just as the South pole gradually slips up north, until both occupy opposite positions. Concomitantly, crustal displacement is highly likely, which means the poles will appear to have shifted up to 20° or so from a surface dweller’s perspective – hence pole shift.

From the perspective of the surface dweller, the rotation of The Earth is opposite to what it was before, i.e. the Sun now rises on the opposite horizon.

      • Said with certainty – 20 degrees, based on?

Posted by David Montaigne | December 8, 2020, 10:45 pm
      • Well, ‘new heaven’ must refer to some changes either in earth axis obliquity, or earth orbit, or both.
Only then will we have a truly new heaven.
‘long dark winter’ could mean an orbit with a long and a dark winter, I mean no more circular orbit, but an elliptical orbit with a long time away from Sun.

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 8, 2020, 2:02 pm
      • None of that is likely. Obliquity will stay the same. The orbit will stay the same. The crust’s position of the core will change.

      • By ‘up to 20° or so’, I’m not trying to be specific. I mean that a crustal shift could be a few degrees, or a few more, but it’s highly unlikely to be in the region of 45 or 90. Accumulation is also rare, i.e. the polar regions tend to remain polar, but in some rare occasions it’s possible successive shifts will accumulate in accord with evidence that even currently equatorial regions have once experienced polar locations.

  2. There are legends of a great white flash in Solar System. Such a flash was to destroy the dark side of the Moon, and this is why the Chinese want some stuff from there, to know what had happened and what we can possibly expect.

  3. The orbit will stay the same…? How can you be so sure? Things which have stayed the same for a long time (as the very notion of the great year suggests) sometimes change….Well, if no gravity tides appear….
I am puzzled by the proliferation of news (just search youtube) suggesting some new celestial bodies entering Solar System and wreaking havoc… I am also puzzled by rather inordinate attention devoted to different kinds of neutron stars in those news …
But well, let’s say, the temporary, intermittent presence of a neutron star here could provide an alternative explanation for a Sun ‘nova’, which I have difficulty to believe in otherwise…

    • You wrote about: “the proliferation of news (just search youtube)” Youtube videos don’t necessarily mean something is real. I’m not sure what “new celestial bodies entering Solar System” you’re accepting as real – hopefully not (as others wittier than I termed Nibiru) the “imaginary bullshit planet” – but there is lots of evidence for stars that repeatedly nova: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tQAyhmnOswhttps://youtu.be/s1WyDw2ezls?t=172

Posted by David Montaigne | December 9, 2020, 1:39 am
      • David, let me turn the table for a moment: if novas/supernovas were so common during life cycles of stars, we wouldn’t put a year of explosion by a star name.
As you said yourself: videos don’t necessarily mean something is real. QED 😉

  5. dark winter?

Freudian slip there: ‘we don’t know what this object exactly is’. Yeah, and why we are so interested in this problem in the first place?

  6. From my personal observations: double rainbows we sometimes see now, as well as double comet tails, could be easily explained by the another source of radiation in Solar System, one close to Sun.
By the power of Ockham’s Razor, simply.

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 9, 2020, 2:02 am
    • Julian, you’re far from alone in believing things with no evidence – but I hope you learn to research more before taking too much nonsense so seriously

Posted by David Montaigne | December 9, 2020, 2:16 am
      • This is what believing is.
        Believing with evidence is knowing.
But I am hypothesizing on the basis of observable facts (rainbows, comet tails).

But why you are so against Nibiru theory, David? By no way I am a partisan of this idea, but as an open-minded person who likes simple explanations as advised by Ockham I do not exclude it entirely too.

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 9, 2020, 2:23 am
      • Ignoring for the moment the very important complete lack of evidence that Nibiru exists – The “Nibiru theory” goes against what the Sumerians and Babylonians wrote about Nibiru (Nibiru=crossing point, probably where the ecliptic crosses the Milky Way) and instead proposes a rogue planet that passes close to Earth every 3600 years and causes great destruction every time. Except nothing caused great destruction within the last 3600 years, and if such a rogue planet did cross Earth’s path so often we would long ago have been destroyed by a passage that came too close.

Posted by David Montaigne | December 9, 2020, 2:30 am
      • Nibiru is the planet of the crossing, where ‘planet’ means naked eye visible, non-fixed, nighttime celestial object, and the planet that crosses (the galactic plane), is our second sun, which crosses it twice a great year (along with The Sun). Just after that crossing, our Earth encounters a steadily intensifying magnetic field of opposite polarity (to the one enjoyed for the last 12,000 years), and eventually flips 180°.

David is thus right. The ‘Nibiru=rogue planet’ disinfo is intended to misdirect the less discerning.

  7. 15 years ago when I studied astronomy I was repeatedly told that in its own class (G) Sun is a small star, and nova is not an issue as a standard element of its life cycle. I wonder why this has changed now…
And well, Nibiru could be a neutron star, couldn’t it be?
The Book of the Secrets of Enoch speaks about ‘the terror of the Lord’ etc.

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 9, 2020, 2:07 am
  8. Nibiru means ‘crossing point’ in a lexical sense, but as any word can be the name of a star or a planet, this word could be such a name too.
I also do not think the period of 3600 years is right…. The fact that Earth wasn’t destroyed yet, could be explained by the fact that Nibiru orbit is changing too as well as by the fact that Nibiru being a part of the system, must be in a labile balance with the rest of its object…. My hypothesis is that it is slowly drifting towards Sun…. Long time ago it allegedly started around Neptun, and now is maybe around asteroid belt….
But we still didn’t solve 3-bodies problem, so we can’t say we know anything here.

I think the main problem about Nibiru is not its orbit or nature but that it raises the question of extraterrestrial intelligence as per Sumerian legends….

  9. Maybe the Holy Trinity is the code for the fact that we live in the triple system – Sun, Sirius, Nibiru.
If Nibiru is a star – taking into account its very eccentric, highly inclined orbit -I have some doubts whether Sun alone could bond this ‘star’.

  10. I think ZOD Is generally right, and that the pole shift can’t be more than 45 degrees, taking into account that deserts – which probably were under ice or water as some point in time – seem to have stayed in the same hemisphere.
A lot may depend on the position of the trigger, as well where ‘hinges’ of shift will be. The sphere can be rotated along any of its axes.

  11. According to the Ethiopian calendar, it is 2012 now.
They also use this ancient way of measuring days and nights, where a day and a night have fixed length of 12 hours, having therefore day hours and night hours.
Such a time measure was used by the Maya and the ancient Japanese too.

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 11, 2020, 10:27 am
    • Just as Yin/Yang or White/Black represent the two 12 millennia cycles of the great year. Commemorating this by keeping 12 hours for the day and 12 for the night is logical. However, this has given way to the regularity required by modern living.

  12. “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord” Isaiah 66:23
Could it be that this period (lunar month + week) starts with the current new moon and ends with the end of Trump’s term…?! Well, didn’t dr Fauci recently say that covid would start to decline after 22.01.2020, did he…?

  13. Zod, what do you think about the authorship of the Bible?
Do you think that the Old Testament and the New Testament had the same author…?
I must say, I have never really got around the relationship between these two sets of the books. Essentially, the Old Testament says everything you need to know about pole shift already…

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 16, 2020, 11:56 pm
    • JtA, I don’t think that much about the authorship.
It was produced and perpetuated by those who wished to preserve vital knowledge – proliferation being part of the preservation strategy.

      Posted by Zod | December 17, 2020, 8:43 am
      • Well, the interesting question is: were they dictated by the same ‘god’? The Old Testament is obsessed with false gods, so couldn’t the New Testament be
        dictated by such an impostor…?
The question is interesting as it builds upon the main controversy of early Christianity: namely, that of Judeochristianity.
The former claimed that in order to be a Christian you had to be a Jew first, the latter said that non-Jews could be Christians too.
The ultimate problem behind this controversy was the salvation of non-Jews. If you do not know this problem – as strangely many do – you do not realize why some Christians covet a close relationship with Israel (as a community, not a state)
The thing generated some strange ideas though, for example, British Israelism.

  14. Surprisingly, there was indeed a movie about Atlantis (I have always wondered why the great themes of Atlantis and ancient Egypt have not been really touched by Hollywood).
The movie – judging just from a trailer – has points which evoke some modern problems:

    1) genetic engineering in the quest of transhumans, so to say
    2) mutants, there is very strong ban on zoophilia in the Old Testament BTW
    3) using power of Sun through crystals (one of theory about Great Pyramids of Egypt is that they were made of melted stone)
    4) ‘the (1)race of (2) masters’ problem, and imperialism
    5) gladiators fights (well, that was Rome, and Aztec empire too)

Posted by Julian the Apostate | December 17, 2020, 12:02 am
    • Well, maybe the reason we don’t get movies about Atlantis is that – unlike in 50’ties – we are now too close to Atlantis.
A reminder that the owl [knowledge] always appears after the dusk, as Hegel said. And, as Orwell said in 1984: ‘Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.’

POLE SHIFT: Evidence Will Not Be Silenced

Evidence suggests that pole shifts are both magnetic and geophysical, with a periodic cycle of recurring and predictable cataclysms involving huge earthquakes and tsunamis, changes in latitude and altitude, mass extinctions, and the destruction of civilizations, reducing them to myth and legend.
