I never heard of Rose Stern until a few minutes ago, but if the main conclusions of this interpretation of Nostradamus prophecies are:
“Die Weissagungen befassen sich mit dem Hauptthema des Polsprunges und dem vorangehenden Krieg in Europa als Vorspiel.”
“The prophecies deal with the main theme of the pole shift and the preceding war in Europe as a prelude.”
Then I agree with that assessment. If Nostradamus, and my interpretations of his prophecies – are correct, then WWIII is largely fought in Europe, then the Middle East at the end. The war should be over by 2028, followed by a pole shift, probably in October, in 2028 or at the latest 2029.
END TIMES PROPHECY 
If there was a WW3 it would be non-nuclear, and most likely a carefully instigated/phony ‘civil war’, purportedly between Islam & Christianity – due to a widespread bout of fake terrorism by either side vs the other (some of it real due to gullible folk being fooled by the fakes, and retaliating).
Such a ‘war’ may be desirable if martial law was required (to suppress insurrection), and to escalate, if natural phenomena needed to be explained as the result of exotic weaponry (tsunami generating ‘nuclear’ missiles).
As soon as any kind of WW3 breaks out (or is clearly imminent), it’s pretty much a given that this is to keep the masses in the ‘fog of war’ and uninformed as to what is really going down. Expect financial collapse, electricity grid failure, and operation of the Internet kill switch.

Before the war in central europe there will be a war in the near east region (Syria, Israel, Iran, Irak etc.) The russians attack will be unattended, so there must be a high grade damage to military enlightment. The war will suddenly end by the 3 dark days, all electric/electronic devices will be without function. In the end there will be the pole shift. According to Alois Irlmaier, Germanys best prophet).
