Based on a Quora.com Q&A: If “Feminism” was still about fighting for equality, no problem. If by “feminism” one means stripping away all former male privileges that were associated with gender roles, but keeping and not even acknowledging female privileges, then men are more likely to suffer under a trend of “feminism.”
Feminists generally aren’t fighting to correct the imbalances that disfavor males. Who gets drafted if war breaks out? Who gets child custody more often after a divorce? On television, almost every sit-com portrays the husband and father as a buffoon (Homer Simpson, Ray Romano, Al Bundy, Archie Bunker, Peter Griffin, etc are prime examples) …but I digress.
