Otherwise, folk such as Vogt might figure things out a bit more quickly, rather than imagining an inexplicably regular solar flare can implausibly stop the rotation of the Earth (vs an inverting magnetic field inverting spinning magnetic bodies).

Exact what you are saying, The elder times had people much more open to facts and history knowledge. One conclusion in this book: lies are extreme destuctive!
