Know Someone at a Children’s Book Publisher? Please Tell Me If You Do.

Carsten's Wish

Anyone have connections?  Specifically, to someone at a publisher for children’s books?  I have a friend who is a very talented illustrator, and we hope to collaborate on many children’s books together.  Carsten’s Wish is the first one, based on a true story.

Unfortunately, self-publishing a book of color artwork is much more expensive than the books of text I have done before – pricing such a kids’ book way too high to sell to anyone beyond our immediate families.  To sell this kind of book to anyone else at a reasonable price, we have to get noticed by a publisher and have access to their level of bulk production pricing.  I don’t have any such connections yet.

Hopefully, dear readers, one of you can help put us in touch with someone.  Thank you in advance!
